What kind of surface is suitable for Dr Hook Suction pads?
Smooth flat glossy tiles, smooth glossy laminate wood, mirror and glass surface can be directly installed with Dr Hook suction pad. It gives a strong holding power up to 5kgs per suction pad. Keep surface clean and dry before installing Dr Hook suction pad. And finally slot the accessories that is purchased with product.
Can I install suction pad on to non glossy surface?
For non glossy surface, like matte tile, or matte laminate, you can purchase a add on base convertor, double sided paste on with a glossy finish, and then apply Dr Hook suction pad on to the base convertor.
Can crack tiles be installed with Dr Hook products?
It is not advised to direct install Dr Hook suction pad products on cracked tiles, we can cover up the cracked tiles or drilled tiles with damaged products covering it up with a base convertor, leaving a clean finish and then applying Dr Hook suction pads on to it, as per Faq 2 / Desc 2.
For Dr Hook stainless steel series, what kind of surfaces can be applied on?
Dr Hook stainless steel series product comes with a cling on teeth adhesive backing. It is a made out of a high quality glue designed to paste on flat surfaces, be it matte or glossy surface. Once removed, it cannot be reused. But it dose not leave a heavy residue on the surface. Making it easy to clear up, but it also takes a certain strength to remove it as it is designed to be able to hold the heavy stainless steel trays and hold your product.
Can i reuse Dr Hook suction pad since it is removable?
Yes you can. Dr Hook suction pad is removable and can be reused. It is waterproof and heat resistant. But over a period of time, it is advisable to remove the suction pad and wash with soap once in a while like 3 to 5 weeks, or in few months time (depending on your area situation).
Keep it clean and dry and clean the surface you want to apply back on, clean and dry, and reinstall it. Always remember, dry surface installation for all of our range of products.
